Two guys get a billion dollars to make a movie, only to watch their dream run off course.

As one of the poor schmucks who saw Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film for Theaters on the big screen, let's do this!

However, Magnolia's releases don't make it through Vegas. So, um, I'll have to... watch it... with my friends... who enjoy the taste of Parrot Bay... yeah...

At the end of that teaser it says the movie will be available on demand on Jan 27, a month before it's in theaters.

Unless it's horrible I'll watch it in the theater just to support them, but I'll be watching it on demand the day it's available. Can't wait!

I met Tim & Eric back in 2006 at Comic Con and they couldn't have been nicer. This was when Tom Goes to the Mayor was still on. I would definitely support these guys in a theatrical flick if it comes out here.

I agree.
I can't tolerate their comedy 11 minutes at a time on TV, I can't imagine sitting through it at feature length.

I saw/met them back in 2007, and saw them live again last December. I love Tom Goes to the Mayor, and for the most part loved Awesome Show, and I also saw the Aqua Teen movie in theaters (and loved it), so I'm thinking this will be right up my alley.

I used to hate Tim & Eric, but I kept watching and now I find it hilarious, even though some of it is really weird.

Move right along kids. If you knew that Tim and Eric wasn't your thing then why bother even reading this thread? It does say TIM AND ERIC in bold letters.

I'm not allowed to share my disinterest in a film on a discussion forum?

I came in, voiced my opinion and left. I did not continue to come in the thread and repeatedly bash Tim & Eric (like the way some people act in the Walking Dead threads). My posting in here was actually going to be a one & done situation, until your post.

And I did watch the trailer with an open mind, hoping it would be something different. It looks the same as their TV stuff, so I shared my reaction and left.

I'll admit, I laughed at Chef Goldblum, but given that the best thing I think Tim and Eric ever did was the Jeff Goldbluman Group, that's not surprising.

I'm betting this turns out about as well as Run Ronnie Run.

Sorry if I came off sounding like an ass. My point was that if you didn't like the Tim & Eric Show then you likely wouldn't like this move. I am glad that the movie carries the same tone and style as the show and would be extremely disappointed if it were any different. I would put the same analogy of someone that hated the Napoleon Dynamite movie but expecting different results from the forthcoming cartoon series. That completely took us by surprise seeing the preview on tv the other night.

So we have another goody two shoes. So I call someone on not liking a movie based on a show they likely do not like and I am an ass? Maybe you should think about that. I could have easily not responded all but I am not interested in stirring things up and creating a bad vibe when it is not necessary but it seems like you just might be.

So much tension in here. Maybe this will lighten things up.

Hey, no problem, you didn't come off too assy. I even agree with you to an extent, I too dislike seeing people repeatedly bashing something they don't like in a thread.

I just felt like you were reacting to me as if I had come in the thread and just said "Tim & Eric are shit and this looks like shit." If you guys like them, it's cool. I don't, but I'm not going to come in here and just trash them.

P.S. Although I dislike most of the show...I don't mind the Steve Brule segments.

Did you happen to see Check It Out? They gave Steve Brule his own show. I don't know if these are the full episodes, but you can check out clips here.

I'm suprised they got a billion dollars to put this thing together. I wonder if they're developing any new technology ala Avatar. Go Tim and Eric. Big time forever always.

I think most of the budget went to makeup and blowup dolls. I bet Shrim cost a buck or two as well.
