Re: Game of Thrones: Season 1

wasn't there supposed to be a documentary crew following along with filming, in house crew from HBO?
that couldn't be the "30 min making of"?

then again i was hoping for "hearts of darkness", so maybe my hopes were a little too high.

typical ungrateful bastard that i am, i see 7 commentaries and complain that there aren't ten.

Love this show, but at that price for season 1 only, I'll wait until it drops into the $30-40 range.

FYI there is a special bonus disc if you order it from HBO.com. However your going to have to pay full MSRP.

Yep. Way overpriced.
But HBO seasons have always been way expensive.

Are you talking about the $79.98 price for the BD? That's MSRP. It will probably be $45-50 release week.

Yeah, you'd think they would want it out in time for Christmas. This would probably be a huge seller.

But when it comes to television programs, they are generally released about a month before the new season starts.

The BB exclusives are probably just slipcovers over the regular set like True Blood had.
