Yeah, those were crazy. Bill and Cathi are certainly in pretty good shape for any age, much less theirs. I know that if I were ever on the Amazing Race that is not a challenge I would be jumping up and down to do.

I guess we'll have to wait a week to see if Ernie and Cindy have a penalty for the train situation.

I, too, was waiting for a possible penalty, but then it ended up a "continue racing" pit stop, and we'll have to wait longer.

Why would they get a penalty? They did buy the tickets. I thought I missed something when the preview for next week came on. I thought who got knocked off and had to replay the last minute. So we basically got another episode where no one gets eliminated.

That was quite an episode...tough challenges, near fatal blunders and the pain/comedy of seeing everyone don the speedos.

I'm not saying penalizing them would be fair, but they did board a train that they did not have tickets for. One would figure that might be against the rules.

Yeah, they've penalized teams for less. A few seasons back they gave one team a penalty for losing a paint brush.

I would assume that hopping a train, plane, or bus without a ticket would be against the rules. Even though they did purchase tickets, they rode the train without the required tickets and without permission from the conductor to let it slide.

I'm disappointed that the one who looked best in their swimsuit (Sandy, by far) got the least amount of camera time.

Re: The Amazing Race 19 -- "It's Speedo Time" -- 11/20/11

One thing I didn't like about last night's leg was the catch up point in the middle of the leg. I'm not crazy about them anyway, but I do understand why they are necessary for production costs and for keeping all the teams in the race. However, by putting it in the middle of the leg they basically made the roadblock and the Legoland challenge meaningless.

There were teams that muffed both challenges and teams that got lost, but it didn't really matter. Conversely, E&C sailed through them and extended their beginning of the leg lead, but that didn't matter either.

I had the same exact thought. That bodybuilding challenge was disgusting.

Lame episode with a catch-up point placed after challenges.

Was Amani showing so much sideboob they had to blur it out?

Came here to post this -- guess she was too hot in that bikini for family hour.

And I don't know about Ernie and Cindy getting a penalty for losing their ticket but I expect Bill and Cathi to get a penalty. All teams got an "ok" from an AR dude after completing the puzzle at the teacup ride. They just left.

That's why it was a continuation leg, instead of elimination.

I can definitely see why they are still in the race and have been finishing near the top.

Obviously. Still doesn't matter - still makes the challenges prior to a bunch up pointless.

Re: The Amazing Race 19 -- "It's Speedo Time" -- 11/20/11

The body building/posing challenge was really uncomfortable to watch.

at Amani being really uncomfortable with the bikini. I can understand her being an older woman in her late 30's or early 40's she is probably very self conscious about her body and isn't in the best shape. I loved how Marcus got really into the flexing.

Yeah I was also shocked at those dark bruises on Cindy's thigh. For a second, I thought she had some really funky tattoos.

The memorization and acting challenge in Denmark was pretty lame.

At this point, I would be cool with Marcus/Amani, the snowboarders, or even Bill and Cathi winning.

Agree 100%. They would have looked great in those Orange Bikinis.

Looked like it to me. Also, the dude who dates the blond chick. His package was blurred.

Re: The Amazing Race 19 -- "It's Speedo Time" -- 11/20/11

So Phil gave a prize to Marcus and Amani for coming in first for the leg, then immediately sent them off on the next one. Does that mean there will be yet another non-elimination for this leg? I noticed
Spoiler:
Bill and Cathi
were missing from the preview for next week.
