I loved Phil mentioning the printer on horseback. "But I wouldn't need to, because I fixed it forever."

Great show, including all the lines/scenes above.
My favorite was definitely when the nerds stole the copter and wouldn't give it back to Manny and Luke. Alex walking over, whipping her hair around, getting the copter back, and returning to the truck. And when Haley questions her about what just happened: "You have your fans; I have mine. And someday yours will be working for mine."

I love these episodes where all the different family members interact. Hopefully we'll see more of The Adventures of Manny and Luke.

Phil: "The Native Americans would burn sage because they said it would eliminate all the bad karma."
Jay: "Yeah, how'd that work out for them?"
The sleep clowning thing was a little stupid, but Mitchell screaming with horror in bed was funny.
Loved seeing interaction between the girls and Cam.
And the wicked little smile on Claire's face when Gloria offered to take Mitchell shopping and out for ice cream.
The alpaca thing was so out of the blue, but perfectly fitting for Phil.

How good was this episode? Usually Cam as Fizbo is the best part, but here it was the worst part; although I did chuckle at "I sleep clown."
My favorite was Cam and the girls and the encounter with the nerds. Loved Alex using a Haley move to get the copter back and Haley not figuring it out.
Phil with the alpaca was so damn random, I was laughing so hard I had to pause the Tivo.
Was anyone able to read Alex's shirt? I paused it a bunch of times, but could never get a clear enough picture to read it. I caught the top and bottom: And God said let there be light.

And God Said
[Maxwell's Equations]
And then there was light.
Maxwell's equations (James Maxwell, 1860s) describe electromagnetism (light) and are considered the most elegant equations ever discovered.

This was an incredible episode. I can't even remember all the lines I loved. They've really found Luke's niche. He's stealing the episodes these days.

Good episode. I am really getting sick of Cam & Mitchell together, so having them interact with others is a welcome relief. When they are together, they are the worse part of the show to me. Just so cliche. I liked the article that EW did a few months ago which said that the Max character on Happy Endings is a much more realistic portrayal of a gay character.

Everything on Modern Family is a caricature, and Cam & Mitch fit that perfectly -- they weren't out to break the cliches with them.
That said, "gay character" is a broad spectrum, I know a fair share and there are plenty that act like Max and others that act way, way more cliche than Cam and/or Mitch.

I hang out with some actors who pretty much are Cameron and Mitchell. It's not that far off. They are as much of a "caricature" as Phil or Gloria.

I have a few friends that are the same way, but the majority of my gay friends are more like Max, and some tend to look down on those who are more effeminate, because they say that it plays into the stereotypes and adds to the negative views of all gays in general. Anyway, definitely not the right thread or forum for this discussion, but an interesting discussion.
