I'd say more like an inside joke (for those of us who pay attention to who works behind the scenes on shows).

Re: Sons of Anarchy -- 90 Minutes -- "Call of Duty" -- 11/15/11

EVERY FUCKING WEEK! The episode went silent again for about 90 seconds. (Hopefully nothing of major import, just the discussion between Jax and Gemma.)

But this is like 3 or 4 weeks in a row, during the final scene. I just don't get how it's possible to screw up weekly, at nearly the same point.

And AGAIN during Unser's confession to Opie. Are you serious? This is such fucking bullshit!

*** the sound stayed out from the time Opie had Unser pinned to the table and Unser said it was Clay until the little sound that plays as the SOA logo pops up on the screen. Amazing!

I'm drained just from reading the summary. I think I'll save this one until tomorrow when I can savor it. The fit is definitely hitting the shan.

STILL three episodes left?

How will anyone be able to keep Opie off of Clay now?

I was waiting for Chibs to do something or call someone after he walked out of the bathroom.

Ballsy move by Unser. I guess he didn't want to wait for Jax so he'll sic Opie on Clay instead.

Poor Kenny Johnson

Re: Sons of Anarchy -- 90 Minutes -- "Call of Duty" -- 11/15/11

I think the best part of the show was the Justified teaser.

The Tara shit is just getting dumb... did they have to drag the crack ho back into the show to rile her up?

Jax once again just decides to swallow a big old pile of shit and go into his vintage "this ain't over" brooding mode over Clay beating the crap out of his mom? ... as the writers hit the pause button so they can stall yet another storyline. That whole scene between Jax and Clay just didn't ring true... how does Jax at the very least not take a swing at Clay?

At least maybe Opie will remember that Donna was killed and actually try to do something now that Clay has killed a second person close to him.

I still am worried very little gets resolved (I think they'll wrap up the Cartel stuff, maybe even the Fed investigation but for some reason I think very little internal stuff gets resolved)

I thought it was a pretty good episode with an awesome payoff, until the promo ruined the whole setup with Opie.

AWESOME move by Unser. Very impressed by an actual twist I didn't see coming. (Superb acting by both those guys too.)

But man, Lem gets blowed up again? COME ON... At least this time it was quicker, but I was hoping he'd be around for a while.

So, where are they going with Juice? He finally confesses, no worries he's actually given the feds anything, and then he calls to check in?

Didn't they say if he didn't check in they would storm the place or something?

Every episode from here on out that Clay is still walking is going to make this show more and more unbelievable.

And yeah, as if there wasn't enough idiotic storylines going nowhere, let's add another one by bringing Adrianna back.

Well, it is a soap opera. Next year will feature Ron Perlman as Clay's long-lost twin brother.

He doesn't have to remember as Unser reminded him during their confrontation. Now will he actually do anything is the question.

I'm waiting for the confrontation between Bobby and Otto. That could be explosive. Or, does Bobby somehow convince Otto that Potter is lying, that Georgie is dead, and Otto reneges on his deal.

So next week
Spoiler:
Clay goes into Tara's room to kill her and Gemma rushed to stop him. The question will be how does Clay get Jax out of the hospital.

Has Tig finally gotten a conscience? Quit as Sgt. at Arms. Forlorn look like his best friend was gone. That is going to be a story to follow.

I fear this may be Opie's swan song.

What's the joke?

And great episode. I can't think of any way Clay makes it out of this season alive. I'm expecting Clay to kill Opie... Jax has to kill Clay...

I'm putting money on a full-on shattered club with Jax having to keep what is left together at the end.

This is the second Sutter show on FX where Kenny Johnson explodes. The Shield being the other. The reference was made abundantly clear when he realizes he's standing on the land mine and says, "You've got to be kidding me!"

RIP Lem.

I'm betting something happens when they speak and Otto offs himself before he has to testify or sign the testimony.

Yes, Sutter tweeted today that it sucks, because the day it aired (yesterday), NBC announced the the other show was canceled.
