Burlington Coat Factory DVD Finds

What? You didn't know that they sold dvds??? Where have you been?
I didn't know either til I saw someone mention in another thread a few months back that they had found Police Woman S1 for $5.99 there. so, I checked out the one in Morrow Ga awhile back(they had them hidden in the infants department!) found I forget what, not too exciting.
Went there Friday and saw a better selection(and the DVDs on two metal racks right up by the registers-and in one cardboard dump a few feet in front of the registers)
I bet they take some of the DVDs and put them in back when they are low on floor space, as some stickers were quite old looking. Prices were all over the place. The Will Ferrell set you can see in the photo below was $9.99

But the Paramount 80s titles(which all seem to be out of print, like most everything "old" from paramount) were all $3.99
a few films were $5.99.
Found three deals. Crash, the Complete first season was $3.99.
Bandolero! ( James Stewart, Dean Martin, Raquel Welch) was $2.99
But the one that had me jumping for joy was Amazing Stories, S1 for only $5.99! It's in a sharp cornered box, so one corner was slightly messed up from being in the rack, but I didn't care! I see it's out of print too, so glad to get it before it too disappears .

Since TJ Maxx and Marshalls seem to have dried up, It might be worth it to check out the store near you

The one I went to had a separate set up, other than the one at the register , further into the store, lots of titles, the only one I can remember is "The Mist" 2 disc edition for $2.99.

Nice finds! A while back some James Bond boxsets were showing up at good prices there. I'm going to have to hit the one near where I work.

Re: Burlington Coat Factory DVD Finds

About 3-4 years ago a one opened in Oct. They had Horror movies for 5 bucks I think. That was the first and last time I was ever in there. Nothing but a ghetto/wigger store.

Re: Burlington Coat Factory DVD Finds

After seing the picture that Berigan posted above I figured I would check out two of their stores in my neck of the woods.
Didn't see any of the Paramount. But I picked up four titles:

John Carpenter Collection (2003) Box Set $13
Mothra $3
Class/Secret Admirer MGM 80's Double Feature $3
Wedding Crashers $3

An interesting mix at the two locations I checked out. Had no idea that this store dabbled with movies.

My local store did something weird with Hellboy as I'm pretty sure the clearance price is the same as the previous price ($5.98, I think).

Thanks for the tip. The nearest one's a bit of a drive, but I'll try to check them out.

Duplicity...Blu
Washington the Beautiful (PBS aerial flyover)...Blu
About Fifty...DVD

The Namesake...DVD
Sherrybaby...DVD
Then She Found Me...DVD
The Wild Stallion...DVD
