2nd episode was okay if you liked watching 2 females push one another's buttons. I couldn't figure out why they now trust Jiminy Cricket enough to hatch their plan in his office and in front of him, while burning the missing pages. Also, the queen's CGI sets also rival the ones used in "V" in believability.

This was the first time I watched this show. What did Snow White take from the Evil Queen? Prince Charming? Is that it?

As far as we know. Her whole motivation for killing her father was extremely flimsy. The writers might as well make her wear a sign saying "Pure Evil." The most positive thing about this episode was that Morrison looked great in it.

Was waiting for AFV, and the pilot episode for this was on instead so I watched both episodes tonight. Very enjoyable. Jennifer Morrison is insanely hot, which helps. I found the premise to be interesting.
I definitely keep watching for now.
Will this be one of those shows with maybe 45 minutes of a stand-alone plot, plus 15 minutes of forwarding the main plot?

Jennifer's not only hot, but she's really good as the lead. I'm thinking Claire Danes should get the next best actress award for tv (at the globes, I think), but if she stays this good she might get a nomination.
I like this show a lot and see a lot of places where it will grow. Hopefully the writers are up to it.
Like most everyone else who've commented, I'm far more interested in the present than the past, but the more "fantastical" parts of the show will probably take a lot more time to get used to.
Everyone seems to hate Ginnifer's short hair, but I think as her present day character gets more story and screen time, she's also a very strong and compelling actress and maybe her hair length won't be an issue.

I liked this episode better than last week's. The past storyline was pretty interesting this week and I think I enjoyed it slightly better than the storyline that was based in the present.
I loved the dueling psychology between Emma and Regina. I'm kinda digging how the Robert Caryle character seems to be playing both sides for his own personal benefit. I think the actor playing the kid was quite good this week. I don't really know where the shrink falls into the entire plotline.
And yes Jennifer Morrisson was hot this week especially in that see thru white top.

Count me in on really liking this show. I lurve Jennifer Morrison so I'm glad to see her on tv each week. The evil queen is very hot as well, especially in our world. And it was cool to see True Blood's Pam as the evil queen's sister!

Absolutely loving this show- was a little worried to see if they could follow up on the incredible pilot, but I thought it was another excellent episode.
Will be interesting to see the ratings- most are expecting a big drop after the huge numbers the pilot got, but hopefully enough will stick around to make this a hit.

In its second week, Once Upon A Time held up well, falling only a tenth from last week's premiere to a 3.9 adults 18-49 rating.

I still think this show is fairly weak. Jennifer Morrison is the main reason I'll continue watching. The fairy tale stuff with the two witch's was beyond eye-rolling. I love fantasy programming, but every time they enter a flashback I'm tempted to change the channel.

Pretty solid 2nd episode. I enjoyed the character development and the bickering between Emma and Regina. Lana Parrilla is great in both roles as the evil Queen and the evil Mayor.
It's kind of weird seeing the scenes with Mary and Emma knowing that they are Mother and Daughter.
Love Robert Carlyle's portrayal of Rumpelstiltskin.
I'm curious to see if this show gets a full 22 episode season on how they are going to pull it off. Honestly this looks like a pretty tough show to produce with the elaborate sets/costumes and CG.
