Synopsis:

Spoiler:
"Spooky Endings" - Jane and Brad spend a scary Halloween house sitting for friends in the suburbs, while the rest of the gang heads to a warehouse party, where their respective costumes don't quite have the effect they anticipated, especially for Alex and Dave, on "Happy Endings," WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 26 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

Max moving the baby arms was a funny visual

Jane and Brad were great as always.

Great episode. Each of the stories worked well.

I loved it. And Alex was the hottest transvestite ever.

My fav episode of the series so far. Tons of laughs, especially the long "uhhhhhh" that Dave said.

Also enjoyed the baby costume and the funny arm movement. And then the guy eating the turkey in the stall.

And the house sitting was funny too.

Zap2it says this episode hit a series ratings high. Excellent!

Great news, especially since this was a fantastic showcase episode for newbies. And doubly impressive considering lead-in Modern Family was a repeat this week.

Yeah, I was surprised (and disappointed) that Modern Family was a repeat.

I didnt like the housesitting plot, but the costume party and the opening bit were great.

Man, I must have completely missed the original airing of Modern Family cause it was new to me, I thought it was hysterical, and was surprised there was no discussion on this board. That Spiderman suit stuff was funny as shit.

Back on topic, I am a newbie to Happy Endings, and I thought that was a great, funny episode and I'm in for the run (and will check out earlier eps).'

ABC really does have a quality comedy lineup on Wed. I've always liked The Middle and Suburgatory is solid as well.

I also liked the brick part where it said "over" on both sides, which led Jane to believe that the kids are going to good schools...HAHA

Re: Happy Endings -- "Spooky Endings" -- 10/26/11

Amazing episode. The suburbs stuff was a little weaker, but did have some good lines.

But the party - top notch. And the normally weaker characters (Alex and Dave) actually shined this episode. Some of the best "double meaning mistaken for a tranny" jokes i've heard. "My friend was tucking me in earlier..."

And as mentioned by someone else, the long 'uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh" by Dave was hilarious.

Sorry for the bump, but I'm playing catch up

I have to agree with this. I think it was the first time every character and plot was working and damn funny to boot.
