Just got caught up with the last 2 episodes last night. I dig the show and I think it's a fun action procedural. Taraji P. Henson's character is definitely the weakest link. I don't think a show like this needs to have some really deep thought provoking mythology to be entertaining each week.
I thought it was interesting that the last 2 episodes never really got any clear resolution.

I really enjoyed this episode. The music that played during the park and diner scenes were great.

Great episode, however I didn't get this vibe from the synopsis at all.
Maybe in a vague sense the judge didn't want anything to do with them, but it wasn't much of a point of contention worth noting in a synopsis.
I can't decide if this is my new favorite show or Prime Suspect.
a POI who wants nothing to do with their brand of vigilante justice

Close to getting a full season order along with Unforgettable. These 2 shows are taking longer to get the back 9 because they are produced by different studios.

Here's my nitpick this week - So the Russian gangsters kill the nanny, they plan on killing the judge and his son, but the guy who tries to stop them and kicks their ass for a while (Reese) just gets shot in the shoulder and left alive?

Reese (with his bad shoulder) taking out all the gangsters at the end while they in return didn't hit anybody (wide out in the open) was my nitipick this week.

The obvious hole in the plot was how easily the judge was willing to go along and trust Reese without even thinking of contacting the police or real authorities at any point.

My point of contention, aside from the end shoot-out, was the long-haired guy who came walking into the money house behind Reese, nonchalantly, apparently not noticing the 2(!) gates that Reese had broken into, and then misses Reese with his gun from point-blank range, firing just once, instead of 3-4 times in quick succession.
Nitpicks aside, I still enjoy the show.

I've never heard of a full season 1 pick-up referred to as "renewed", sounds odd.

I'm still watching both shows, though I don't consider either appointment TV.

Finally caught up with all of these episodes and I'm enjoying it. It's not brilliant storytelling and there are sizeable plotholes, but a surprising amount of ass gets kicked for network television. I also like that the show takes itself seriously. I'll keep tuning in until the formula gets old.
