OOP Eclipse Series 6: Flaminco Trilogy - $44.95

http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_0_9?url=search-alias%3Dmovies-tv&field-keywords=flamenco+trilogy&x=0&y=0&sprefix=flamenco+

Saw this on bluray.com forum and thought some of my fellow DVDTalk bargain hunters may want to get in on this. Amazon has eight left in stock as of this post.

I have only seen one of the three films but loved it, and I know this set has been hard to come by for awhile now as Criterion has lost the rights.

a wee bit too late. Amazon's out of it now. But a few other Studio Canal out of print releases are still on Amazon now. Like, "Trafic" being 50% off, "Forbidden Games", "The Small Black Room", etc.

Got in on this for 33.49. Very happy to pick it up! Sorry that not everyone who wanted one could partake.

I don't get it....

If all these titles have been OOP for a year or more, how does Amazon all of a sudden have so many copies of so many different titles?

The criterion site still says the ones that I checked are still oop. Criterion must have found some laying around by the coffee machine and gave them to amazon to sell.

Amazon probably had some misplaced boxes.

Just ordered Peeping Tom ! On the fence about the Godard titles; they aren't favorites, yet this may be my last shot at owning them at all.

Re: OOP Eclipse Series 6: Flaminco Trilogy - $44.95

Well I've had several on my Amazon wish list since the announcement was first made over a year ago & Amazon has always had them in stock since the announcement, except for maybe the Pierre Le Fou blu ray, but B&N has had that one in stock too for the past several 50% off sales. So it's just probably that they haven't been moving stock of those. A number of the titles have come out on blu ray already from the box sets (Wild Strawberries, Sanjuro...) and others are probably due for blu ray soon (Grand Illusion, Peeping Tom, Knife In The Water, Trafic, Carmen), which is why I haven't really jumped on many titles. The trick is guessing correctly which aren't getting upgraded to blu any time soon, which my guess will be Mayerling, Gervaise, Le Jour se Leve, Last Holiday.

The Flamenco trilogy has been out of Stock from Amazon for quite awhile.

I sold a copy on mine on there for 200.00 a few months back.

so I bought up 2 more while I could.
