Can't wait.
This should also help people make up their minds. This is a love it or hate it show, it seems.

Not many answers from last week, but it's not bad so far (catching the repeat now). Much more straightforward with the Manson family inspired premise. Wonder why Jessica Lange's character wanted Violet to eat a tainted cupcake...
This episode has a decent line-up of guest stars, including Kate Mara and the girl who played the daughter of Spiderman's landlord. Azura Skye sure looks rough in this -- I barely recognized her.

I'm still shocked this on cable TV and not HBO or something. It's cool cuz they get away with so much.
There are too many characters, but it's creepy as hell. I'm liking it.

I found this to be far less scattershot and a substantial improvement over the pilot. While the home invaders aspect wasn't terribly original, comparatively, this episode overall felt much more cohesive.
For now, I'm more confidently on board then I was after the premiere.
Nice to see Ryan Murphy using Kate Mara again.

All over the place and I liked it. And I guess the ones that didn't like the pilot will hate this episode too.
And yeah, I think the big reveal was that the maid, Lange and the boy are together in some way.
And of course the wife wants to sell the house now, I wonder how/why she will change her mind.

I thought this episode had more focus than the pilot, mainly because of the home invasion aspect. I'm definitely sticking with it to see where it goes. I worry that "I can't live in this house!" might become the wife's new refrain. We'll see what happens with that. The fact that she's already saying this might at least force some early answers about the house.

That was pretty good. It was really suspenseful and had a creepy vibe.
The opening flashback to the murders in 1968 was pretty cool backstory.
I thought the plot for this episode kind of reminded me of that movie The Strangers from a few years ago.

I think the crazy boy he is treating is going to turn out to be Jessica Lange's son. I am really liking this show...

I've been recording it and watching it before Dexter on Sundays. Great episode. As said by a few others, I agree, my favorite show of the new season.
Its got me hooked, and wanting more.

Loved it. There's just something I really like about the randomness of it all. It seems to work for this show as opposed to how Murphy and his writers did the random thing on later seasons of Nip/Tuck.
How the hell though does Denis O'Hare get a main credit while Frances Conroy is relegated to a guest star credit? She's been in more scenes in both episodes. I guess we'll find out down the road...

One other thing I dig about this show is the way they are using classic horror/thriller musical cues in the same way other shows use classic pop/rock tunes. Bernard Hermann's "Psycho" score was used in a few spots this episode, "Vertigo" and "Twisted Nerve" in the pilot. I know some people probably hate this, but I think it's kind of cool and fits in with the sort of gonzo feel they've got going on here.
