Hopefully this set of shows is better than the last set, as they were mostly weak.

Really good start to the second half of the season. Mr. Mackey: "mmkay Stan you gotta try and pull yourself out of this mmkay..I know that your parents recently got divorced that's gotta be hard, I know that, that's bad but when you walk around all mopey and say that everything is just shitty well that's called being a Debbie Downer Stan mmkay..." .

The "Matrix" thing was kinda funny... the rest of the show, not so much.

I thought the opposite, but then I always hated The Matrix.

Loved the meeting of the fast food guys and the diagrams used (also with Shitty Wok included).

Decent episode. I liked the whole idea that Stan was thinking things would be different now then out of nowhere his parents get back together.

I don't know if SP is thinking of doing a season long story arc with Stan. Could be interesting, could be stupid.

I did LOL when Cartman showed up to the nurses office with burgers in his ass.

I liked the Matrix bit because they just took the drug metaphor used in the movie and made it not a metaphor.

The rest was kind of meh.

The Terra Nova joke was great. Was kinda surprised to see them use The Matrix as the main focus though.

Drunk Stan flying through the meeting firing wildly cracked me up, but the rest was kind of meh.

an OK premiere, but the asperger syndrome joke was so unoriginal. Come on Matt and Trey, try harder.

Agreed. The noises he was making, his movements, the gun firing all over the place, and then the vomiting/passing out were all awesome.

yes it is. Also, semi amusing is the fact that alot of times they end up finishing the episode last minute litterally, and if an episode feels rushed, or has a weak ending, they thought of it that day.

Although I consider myself a big fan, I'll be the first to admit that some if not the majority of episodes are pretty uneven. This show explained it all.

I'm all for amazingly fast topical humor, but why do they work on such a ridiculous schedule for regular episodes?

Wow, that documentary was fascinating.
It must be tiresome having to work like that a bunch of weeks in a row. They can't go on forever like that, I wouldn't anyway.

To keep the material as fresh and current as possible?

I saw the documentary too and really enjoyed it. I always heard that it took them until the last minute, but never expected it to be until the VERY last minute. And I have no idea how I never knew this, but I had no idea that Bill Hader was one of the writers for the show.

They've been off for months. Did they just rent The Matrix last week?

As I said, unless it's highly topical,, why would they produce the show like that for no reason?
