Synopsis:

Spoiler:
Penny buys her first home, an "amah-zing" condo complete with a wine fridge and Italian marble. But will the new digs really signal "the year of Penny" and turn her life around? And, on the year anniversary of their almost-marriage, Jane encourages Alex and Dave to finally be honest with each other -- not the best of ideas -- on the Season Premiere of "Happy Endings," WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28 (9:31-10:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

It's back and has a much better timeslot.

Question: Did none of you guys watch the lost episode that aired on August 24th? There was like 4 comments including myself from people who actually watched it. It was a hilarious episode. Just curious unless most of you didn't see my thread or didn't know about.

Anyways, new season and happy it's back.

Hopefully season 2 gets some good numbers after Modern Family.

I saw that lost episode. It was hilarious and it was nice to have a new ep randomly pop up. Just didn't have much to discuss about it though.

Can't wait for this. Really excited that it's getting the pimp time slot right after Modern Family. Hopefully Happy Endings keeps it up after a great first season. And also unlike last season I hope FOX doesn't try to fuck with it.

You mean ABC, right?

Yes I also watched the "lost" episode. Twice, actually. I thought it was great. I guess I just forgot to post about it.

What did FOX try to do to it? Steal away Wayans for their sitcom?

Yep sorry, I meant ABC.

I guess when a network fucks with a show my first inclination is just to blame FOX.

Yeah, just saw a commercial for The New Girl with Wayans in it for Fox. Is he pulling double duty or was he just in the pilot for that show?

I caught the "lost" episode too. Can't for the life of me recall what it was about though.

When this show was "On the bubble" Wayans shot New Girl for FOX. But, once ABC renewed this, he was contractually obligated to return and the producers of New Girl were forced to write him out.

The Lost episode was about Penny mostly. She was trying to be the "Cool" boss and her assistant was taking advantage of her.

He was only in the pilot. If Happy Endings had been cancelled he would have continued on New Girl, but since it was picked up he was obligated to continue on Happy Endings.

AW YEAH! Can't wait! I hope they keep up the awesome. If we can get the episodes in the proper order this year I'll just consider it a bonus.

Cannot wait. My favorite new show of last season. The lost episode was excellent as well. I need my fix of Penny.

Okay show. Think I'll be missing it the rest of the year though.

I've tried to get into this show, but it just isn't clicking with me. The women are great - especially Casey Wilson - but the stuff with the guys usually seems forced and simply unfunny.

I think this one will be relegated to my "watch on my computer during lunch break" pile.

I didn't know if I was suppose to be laughing or getting turned on. If it was the latter, then well done.

Is it just me or did Casey Wilson lose weight? Her breasts looked smaller.

Re: Happy Endings -- Season Premiere -- "Blax, Snake, Home" -- 9/28/11

That was pretty good. I laughed quite a few times.

Opening sequence was awesome. Max trying to open the clam and then stabbing Brad had me rolling. Then Jane getting exposed to the shell fish and getting sick. at Penny quickly resolving everything to watch the opening sequence.

And yeah I think Casey Wilson has definitely dropped a few pounds. She still looks really good though. Loved the whole "Year of Penny" motto.

The whole deal with Max being jealous of Brad hanging with his black friends was a little silly and childish though. at Max bringing his gay friends to that party and then saying...."Let's go talk about gay stuff"

I disagree with you. I think the humor the women bring, especially Penny balance out well with the stupidity of the guys. Brad, Max and Dave aren't the brightest guys, but I think their sometimes silly interactions balance well with the women.

It's not just you. In fact, from the pilot to the second episode, you can see that she dropped quite a few pounds.

She's still hot, though, so I can't complain.

Cracked up at Brad being the only one twirling in Penny's home

Ok, I really think this was the funniest one yet. The twirling, the neighbor teaching his cats how to open windows, the personal pizza at the amazing price, feeding peeps to the snake and giving it diabetes, the gay guys liking Brad more then Max. I think everything hit with me this week.

Alex tasting her own gumbo was pretty funny too!
