Looking forward to it...but it will either be a big hit, or a big miss. It's launching after Comedy shows...not really a good fit (remember Happy Town?). Hopefully they finish out all 13 episodes. Make it a little Harpers Island-like series.

Emily VanCamp and Madeline Stowe are the draws for me. I've been a fan of Madeline's since 1st seeing her on Revenge with Kevin Costner 21 years ago.

Why does EVC look like she was saddled with the chore of some crappy show as a conciliation prize to something? I'm very much on the fence about even trying this out. Also, to stack up 13 episodes on the DVR is a big ask as well since space is at a premium between unwatched content and other new shows that I know I want to watch.

I've been suspicious for a while that the ONLY reason Madeline Stowe got hired for this series is to trick viewers into thinking they're seeing some spin-off series from THAT film.

The ads for this have been very uninspiring. The girl in the narration actually sounds like she doesn't want to be starring in this show.

They have been hyping this like crazy on both the radio and ABC. It's either really good or so bad they just want to maintain enough to finish the 13 eps.

According to this story, the creator wants to answer all the questions in the "1st 13 episodes" It never says it's 13 set in stone. Again, it depends on ratings like any new show if it will get 22.

The fact that it is going up against both Law and Order:SVU and CSI doesn't bode well for it.
EDIT: I'm going to make the call now that they dropped the ball on this show. If it is going to play out over 13 eps. and resolve most issues, then they should have aired it over the summer in a kind of "real time" . It's intriguing, but the effect is lost IMO.
Where has Madeleine Stowe been for the past 15 years? Last I remember seeing her was 12 Monkeys.

I'm only 15 minutes into this and I already want to kill everyone on this show. The dialogue is atrocious and the line readings are even worse. This is not a keeper.

I watched this the other day online and I watched it again tonight. The pilot was a bit trashy and sort of bad, but I think the show has potential. Madeline Stowe did some good acting in the pilot. I kind of liked this pilot better than the Ringer pilot.

Unlike Supermallet, I quite enjoyed this prime time soap and found it infinitely more enjoyable than Ringer. Of course it's a bit absurd and ham-fisted, it's aimed to be a trashy guilty pleasure, not to mimic Damages (which hardly anyone watches anyway).
Madeleine Stowe was great and still looked fantastic at 50+. Emily seemed to to channel an interesting amalgam of sweetness and venom.
The Count of Monté Cristo parallel is rather apt, and even if it wasn't without fault (I hope they drop the voice-overs), Director Phillip Noyce and company did a rather nice job of setting everything up rather efficiently.
I hope it makes it through the first 13 as they flesh out the characters and plotlines. I myself am intrigued and looking forward to future episodes.

I liked it...
as others have said too, I've been looking for a new trashy sort of guilty pleasure show..... also nice that the lead character on the show is really rich and looking for revenge vs someone who is broke but faking it...
ok fine, at least in this ep every set up was pretty transparent as to the outcome but come on, trashy shows are not built to make you think about stuff anyways!!..

This was pretty bad...just as boring as Ringer I'd say. I think I'm all set with this.
Nothing new so far this season has given me much reason to stick with it...I usually give most things a while but nothing yet has told me I should...I dunno...I guess I'll make up my mind on this next Wednesday.

They said the same thing on The Killing and Persons Unknown.
