What would be cool is to find out all of Tommy's family were the ones who died (in 9/11) and all of these were dreams or hallucinations due to his drinking.

Well, if you take away seasons 4 & 6 this was an awesome show. I'm happy to see it end with a string of good episodes (i've really enjoyed these last nine).

I'm going to make an effort to watch it. I used to love this show the first 3 seasons but fell out of it but I still want to catch the series finale.

I hope a mod can change that date in the thread title. Just wrong to have it like that for a series finale, plus it kind of freaked me out thinking it was tonight. I have a feeling this show is going to end strong.

I just started the season last night, I will finish it tomorrow with the finale however, but holy fuck has it sucked so far. The first 2 eps only had 2 fucking scenes at the fire house! What!

Yeah. It sucks that we had to wait for the second to last episode of the SERIES for them to get back to some good fire action. That, and they really brought the comedy in last weeks episode.

Thats good to hear. I saw 3 eps the other night, and 3 last night. Those were alot better but the focus on the Gavin family is a REAL fucking cancer in this show. Ill watch the final 3 tonight.

I was really expecting something "huge" to happen when Tommy passed out.. I really wanted to like the finale, but the beginning of the episode pissed me off. Maybe I'll watch it again to see if I have a change of heart.
I'm glad to see that everyone stayed at 62. I did like Lou's letter and them using red velvet cake mix for his ashes.

Meh, the birth and the dumping of the ashes were good.
I like how Feinberg developed dementia and then it went away the last part of the season.

Loved it.
The ashes scene in the car was hilarious. The funeral scene was sweet and the speech to the new recruits was very well done. Great ending.
