Synopsis:

Louie's distraught sister drops off her daughter (Gideon Adlon) at Grand Central Station and gets back on the train that brought them to New York. Comedians Godfrey, Todd Barry and Nick DiPaolo appear as themselves.

Episode 13 of 14

Last week's 1 hour episode counted as 2 episodes, so next week will be episode 14, the season finale.

Wow, that was one hell of an episode. Louis continues to push boundaries. I hope that the finale deals with the fallout of this episode, because I can't imagine this storyline going unresolved.

Yeah, this show continues to go deeper, more resonant. But still funny as hell. That opening bit about 20-year-olds was hilarious. The relationship between Louie and the niece had real emotion to it. Incredible what he's doing with this show.

It felt very authentic. Everything really has with his show.

I thought it was funny when he took her to the comedy club, criticized Godfrey's set, and then went up there and tried to do the same type of jokes after she said she liked them.

I looked it up after I saw the last name, but the girl that played the niece is Pamela Adlon's daughter.

Also what an interesting contrast between the stand-up (that 20 year olds have everything and shouldn't bitch about their shitty jobs because of how good they've got it) and the content of the episode.
