Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread

Okay I just checked out Videoeta.com and they still haven't moved Super 8 into November. Are you guys sure that it is coming out November 22nd?

Maybe they will stick with October 18th. Why is this taking so long to be announced? Why is this such a mystery?

Also according to some people at blu-ray.com, their local FYE stores are taking pre orders for Super 8 for September 20th. lol

What is going on?

lol most retail stores have no clue as to whats going on. I remember a few years ago, FYE had fake cover boxes for films and it listed Prince of Persia for December. and I was like.....yeah....Thats not gonna happen

Kung Fu Panda 2 - Oct 11th
Hangover 2 - Dec 6th
Poppers Peguins - Early Nov

Transformers IS Sept 30th

Because some movies like Marmaduke, doesnt have the staying power that other movies have. same happend with Priest, Something Borrowed, The beaver, Hoodwinked 2. all flops at the Box ofice. so they rush them on DVD to stir up new interest

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread

Okay, so it's September already. Still no official word for Super 8. When can we expect to hear an official announcement for its release? Why is Paramount torturing us with this mystery?

Everyday I check my computer to see if there has been any news regarding Super 8's release on DVD. What's taking so long?

BTW, hey Dolphinboy, come back buddy.

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread

LOL this is hysterical. The official announcements for Super 8 and Transformers: Dark of the Moon were supposed to be made by now. At least that's what you guys said. Now that they haven't you guys are no where to bee seen.

Almost every site that were reporting Transformers Dark of the Moon for September 30th have pulled it down. I don't know about you guys but I kind of believe the October 25th date from CDUniverse.

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread

oh for the love of God.

Super 8 is November 22nd, therefore its offical annouce date got pushed back to late sept or early october, which is its new prebook date.

as for transformers the SINGLE DISC DATE is Sept 30th it was announced quietly apparently this week. the Other discs for Transformers is Oct 25th. they are doing the same thing with Pirates with the single disc being oct and the other discs being november.

can we move off of this topic now.
