Re: Caddyshack vs. Ghostbusters

My first reaction was that it is impossible to choose, but I think you're right. The "better quotes" award has to go to Caddyshack, especially since one of my most-used quotes comes from that film...

Re: Caddyshack vs. Ghostbusters

To be fair, one of my favorite quotes comes from Ghostbusters, "Well that's what I heard!"

"Okay, I'm going to go have a shower!"

(I sense this thread achieving movie quote awesomeness soon... )

Re: Caddyshack vs. Ghostbusters

Your poll has caused my brain to explode, as I also feel Ghostbusters is the better movie but I could quote Caddyshack all day long.

Re: Caddyshack vs. Ghostbusters

While Ghostbusters may be a technically better movie, Caddyshack is infinitely more quotable and funnier by a factor of seven. That's right, seven.

I wish someone could express the way I feel about these two movies.

I'll take it one step further and say Ghostbusters 2 is better than Caddyshack 2.

Re: Caddyshack vs. Ghostbusters

Voted for Caddyshack.

I feel that both of these are equally as good, but Caddyshack is totally more quotable.

"This is good stuff.....I got it from a neeeegro"
"You do drugs danny?" "Everyday" "good.."
"Your a lotta woman...Wanna make 20 dollars the hard way?"
"You'll get nothing .... and LIKE IT!"
"IT's IN THE HOLE!"

but really, animal house wins in my book (well maybe leaflet).

Yep, this first response pretty much nailed it. I still voted Ghostbusters, though.

Fixed

-What are you doing this Saturday?
-No plans?
-I'm having a little get together at the yacht club...christening my new sloop. How'd you like to mow my lawn?
