Been awhile since we've had a film by Crowe. Vanilla Sky is an all time favorite of mine, and Almost Famous is a classic of this generation. Based on that I'll give it the benefit of the doubt.

I actually enjoyed Elizabethtown, but Vanilla Sky was unwatchable. My wife loves Almost Famous (I like it, but don't love it). I'll most likely see this on opening weekend.

I love Cameron Crowe, even Vanilla Sky and Elizabethtown, which while flawed have more heart and sincerity to them than most flicks. It's been too long since his last one so I'm really eager to see this.

I never got the dislike of Vanilla Sky. I liked the original, liked the remake (though it's admittingly a little drawn out and over explains things a bit).

I am anticipating it. Crowe, Damon, Johansson, Hayden Church, John Michael Higgins and Jónsi from Sigur Rós is doing the score for the film.

Almost Famous's bootleg cut is seriously one of the best films ever, btw.

I'm not sure what to make of this, it seems like a really weird idea for a film. That and it seems a bit sappy and melodramatic. I'll give it a chance though since it's Cameron Crowe.

I thought that Patrick Fugit was supposed to be in this? Didn't notice him in the trailer.

Eh, there's a place for sentimental movies, as long as they don't get too cheesy. And this one has a good cast.

I just saw a promo on TV for this. I wonder if that private zoo owner killing himself and letting his exotic animals free had any impact on the release.
