Hook has always had deep fondness of the Joy Division material. I'm glad he's getting to play some of it, though from the recordings i've heard, I don't particularly care for it.
I really wish they would get around to releasing some of the Joy Division live shows and the Plan K video they keep locked up, instead of releasing the same material over and over again. Heard a few weeks ago that the guy who filmed their Eindhoven concert (with permission from the band), wont sell it back to them for less than a small fortune. Hook has some very early Joy Division concerts in his personal collection (1977-78 stuff), and has hinted that we might see some of it in the future.
also, for those collectors, the original Komakino master tape is on ebay. Starting at a mere $1,000.
