Executive producer Ferrell previously appeared twice during the first season in a blond, feathered wig for his role as the BMW salesman. As for McConaughey, he guest starred just once during season two as the openly gay Texas scout, Roy McDaniel.
Season two left Kenny Powers (Danny McBride) to deal with impending fatherhood as love interest April Buchanon (Katy Mixon) announced her pregnancy. The show shoots this summer.

Agreed. I think what made the first season work so well wasn't just Kenny Powers but the rest of the cast. The Mexico storyline was pretty meh. I'll be happy if they go back to his neighborhood.

I loved season 1, and brought the dvds to my gf's house. She didn't laugh once, and after making it through one disc, she said she just didn't like the show at all. SHe found Kenny Powers too disgusting and obnoxious. I explained to her that's why he's so funny. Maybe's this is just a guy's show.

It is a guy show, Kenny Powers is one of the most vulgar tv characters I've ever seen and that's a huge turn off for a large section of the population.
I also give K-swiss credit for having the balls to go with such a vulgar character to headline one of their product lines

My favorite show on TV next to Justified... cannot wait for this to come back. It's a bummer that this is the last season.

I'm so glad this is finally back tonight. Been a very long wait. Season 2 started off slow, but once Stevie got involved, things got better and funnier. He's the best part about the show, imo.

Went through this whole ep. trying to remember why I keep rooting for this guy, as he is about the farthest thing from the kind of person I would want to win. However, once again they have found a way where I cannot help but do so.
Kudos to using clips from Superfuzz and the song Lunatic Fringe.
