Your favorite ex-Daily Show correspondent?
I was thinking today how a lot of the correspondents from The Daily Show have made successful transitions to movies and other TV shows. These are obviously the main guys. I thought about adding Mo Rocca, but was surprised to learn he hasn't done much outside of The Daily Show. Who's your favorite one?

Of that list, definitely Ed Helms; he was the last guy who did the straight man interviews the best.
It really sucks that they dropped those bits as it was the only thing that was funny on the Killborn-version and that Stewart continued it kept me watching.

Was Lewis Black really a correspondent? I thought he only did opinion pieces.
Of that group, Colbert has done the most interesting work post-Daily Show. Had to go with him.

Carell takes the cake for me, I think we can all agree he's had the most successful career since leaving (I'm sure some will argue Colbert)

There's no doubt Carrell has had the most successful career. Colbert has had, imo, the most interesting career since leaving. Lewis Black I put in a different category than the rest, since he was a known quantity before the Daily Show.
