I thought the first season was hit-or-miss; sometimes seemed like it was trying to be too clever for its own good. I'll probably check it out again though since there's not much else on during the summer.

Loved every uncomforatable bit of the first season. Can't wait to watch this one.

I hope there's more of Ricky Gervais as Louie's insane doctor.

It feels like it's been too long and I didn't even see season 1 until it was on Netflix streaming. Can't wait for more.

The stuff with his daughter killed me

I wonder how his ex-wife felt watching that?

I love how even after Louie gave in and gave her a piece of chocolate, he says "make sure your sister gets one too".

Longest and funniest setup to a fart joke I've ever seen!

Even the fart joke was funny to me.

Good start to the season.

The fart itself was hilarious, too. Everyone's reactions made me .

Eh this was just OK. That fat bitch screaming for half the episode didn't help things.

I couldn't stand Louie's sister. The fat bitch screaming was driving me nuts. But, the payoff with the fart joke was pretty funny, although kind of dumb toilet humor.

Loved the interactions between him and his daughters. at Louie flipping off his daughter.

Has anybody seen his other show from HBO, Lucky Louie? How would you compare it? Was it the same, better, or worse than this show?

Much worse. I've been a huge fan of his for more than 10 years and I could barely make it through Lucky Louie. Just rent Pootie Tang.

I was disappointed with this episode. The screaming forced me to fast forward about 1:30... after that I was just down on the show.

Episode was OK. The pregnant sister thing wasn't very funny or that interesting. I was extremely annoyed at the screaming. 99% of fart gags aren't funny... and this wasn't either.

This episode was terrible

I have just rewatched all of Lucky Louie

They shouldn't have cancelled that, it was funny as hell, much better than Louie

Re: Louie -- Season Premiere -- "Pregnant" -- 6/23/11

It was ok but not great. Had some funny moments along with some oddly profound touching moments (the gay neighbors speech especially). I didn't care for the sister at all. It is especially odd because the plot point was pretty minor and seemed like the episode could have been done without her. Also it was strange because they never mentioned him having a sister in season 1 either directly or in flashbacks to when he was a kid only his little brother Bobby (played by the great Robert Kelly who I had the pleasure of meeting a few months ago).

I'm still on board with the show though just hope it doesn't suffer the sophomore jinx. Also hoping Gervais pops back up this season!

I liked the beginning bit with his daughter and the stand up stuff. Didn't care much for the rest.

Was the calm gay neighbor in this the same guy that was the angry gay guy in a few Seinfelds?
