Are disc repair services worth it?
I've got a couple of game discs with the traditional "Got-knocked-off-the-hub-while-still-spinning-in-the-Xbox 360" scratches. I tried the often written about Brasso and toothpaste, neither of which worked for me. In my searches I've come across several companies that offer "professional" repair from as low as 1.50 on up to 7.00 a disc.
Has anyone used one of these services with any luck?

I can only speak from my own experience...
I have had 2 dvd based games "repaired" by a professional...
Both have not worked after the repair...these were done years apart from two different services.
I probably just had bad luck.

Re: Are disc repair services worth it?
I've used Azuradisc a bunch of times over the years on DVDs, CDs and PS2 and 360 games, but I've noticed it only helps with minor scratches. A lot of them I just refurbish if I am giving them away to a friend or selling them, just out of a courtesy thing.
For the most part, I'd say 90% positive out of maybe 80-100 discs total. Some they simply don't even bother putting through the machine if they feel the damage is too "severe", and a few turned out looking good, but didn't run.
