Whatever happened to this game?
For the life of me, I cannot remember the title of a game that was coming out shortly or should have been out (I believe it was even shown at the Spike Awards).
It's set in the desert (maybe Dubai and sort of post-apocolyptic) and you were a soldier trying to take out the baddies. Most of the screen shots in magazines showed your character taking out the bad guys by shooting out a glass roof of a building buried in sand. There were also some screens of your teammates hung upside down.
Sorry, that's all I recollect. It looked promising but I've not heard about it in a while.

I'm pretty sure I remember seeing previews/trailers for this game as well, but I am drawing a blank on the name and my Google-fu was not strong enough to find anything. Definitely not Uncharted 3.

The only thing I can recall that slightly resembles that is a short video they showed for that I Am Alive game where the survivors were fighting over a water bottle and it was revealed they were standing on the glass roof of a building that was about to collapse.

This was on my radar but I never heard anything for months. Looks like it's going the way of "This is Vegas"... another one I was looking forward to.

Yeah, that's definitely Spec-Ops. The first games in the series were bad budget titles on the PSX. This one looked okay, but I heard bad things about the beta.
2 Days 2 Vegas was a different game.
