Did anyone else enjoy First Wave?
Did anyone like this show? I got to admit I loved it back in 98 I think. It used to be on Fridays at 10PM and just saw its finally coming to DVD next month.

Re: Did anyone else enjoy First Wave?
I loved this show with a passion. It had kind of an odd V type plot line going on, lighter at times, darker at others. Roger Cross, best known probably from 24, was freaking amazing. Rob LaBelle was just perfect, Traci Lords came in late, but she really showcased some talent. Sebastion Spence was perfect as the lead. The writing was excellent, some filler episodes sucked, and it at times had a Smallville FotW thing going on, but the overall arc was both fairly original and well done. It's a true shame the show ended before it really finished it's plot. It was an excellent show for what it was, a low budget, Canadian produced, Sci-Fi in the early Aughts show. Definitely worth checking out if you are a fan of the genre or V, it was an excellent show, as I said, for what it was.

I loved this show as well! I don't think I ever saw all of the episodes due to scheduling, but the premise and cast were solid.
I believe they eventually tied everything up in the end even though it was rather rushed. It definitely took more of a slant towards heavy scifi at the end (yes I know the premise was scifi). It's a shame that Spence never hit it big after this (so far). He's popped up in some popular shows, but nothing as a leading part. In fact his few roles in BSG were rather sad - an angry bitter person that came on for a few moments here and there.

I liked this show and it will be interesting to revisit the DVDs. Can someone refresh my memory, how did the show end?
