by the time Sisko had the uniform the convention guy was wearing he was captain
not only that, but the convention guy had captain's insignia

it's bad enough when they screw up technical stuff like something with computers or legal procedure, but for f***s sake, hollywood can't even get hollywood right

Spectacucon?

I'm beginning to wonder of HPD has a competent police force. Why was Five-O brought in to investigate this murder? I know they revealed at the end that it tied into a Cold Case, but still you need the Governor's Task Force for that? Poor DB Sweeney, what a thankless guest starring role. At least he got to play a badass goon in The Event earlier this season and 24 last season.

On the plus side, I liked that they brought back the Wo Fat storyline with this CIA chick investigating him as well. But, can we please give Mark Dacascos more than 5 minutes of screentime and 1 page of dialogue?

at them using 2 CBS properties on the show. The Captain Sisko outfit and the Cheers season 4 DVD.

This is the funniest part of the show for me. Early on they established that this is a special task force, yet for half the shows they have to shoehorn in a reason that they're on a case because there just aren't enough special task force investigations for Hawaii. :P

And I still can't help but LOL when they're chasing someone and shouting, "Five-Oh! Five-Oh!" as if the perps have ANY idea what they're talking about. They were shouting that at the guy who had just come over from the mainland to threaten his ex...and then go on a dolphin-sighting excursion...ok, I need to stop thinking so hard about this show and just go with it.

Club Femme Nu That place actually exists! Hahahaha... love how they showcase one of Honolulu's oldest strip clubs!

The red herrings are pretty lousy and the way they connect the crime to the perp is funny. It's now kind fun trying to see what ridiculous way they can find that!

Sometimes I think they do it to get a rise out of the fan boys. But yeah, I noticed it too.

Uneven ep for me. The comic convention bit was incredibly lame, but I LOVED the "showdown" at the end between McGarrett and Wo Fat. Loved the "Say hello to my little friend" line to one-up Fat's "advice".

This show needs more Dacascos. Been a big fan of his since Brotherhood of the Wolf.

besides the Wo Fat parts, the rest was pretty lame. Just a poor man's CSI

I still love the show though. The acting from the guest stars seemed a bit off too.

This was worse than the worst episode of CSI. I swear -- if these fools didn't have the nerdy forensics guy, they wouldn't solve shit.
