Yoostar 2
Anyone else getting this? I picked it up yesterday and after getting around to playing it today it was hard to stop. It was fun trying to get the five stars for some of the famous movie scenes. I also enjoyed going into the community and seeing other people's videos although there are quite a few turds mixed in. One cool thing is that it will allow you to upload your selected videos to your facebook account so that people that don't play can still check out and comment on your videos. I think i'll be very selective with that option. Anyway, if anyone else has this or is thinking about picking it up please post your thoughts.

I thought about picking this up. My concern was the video quality. The Kinect camera is pretty low res compared with the video clip quality. Is the video grainy?

I thought it looked like an excellent party game. One of the bathroom magazines gave it 5.5 /10... but I'll pick it up on the cheap.

The video quality is really dependent on how much lighting you have in the room. I was joking with my wife that I was going to pick up some professional lighting equipment so brighten the place up.

Re: Yoostar 2
I just picked this up tonight for the family to play over Christmas.
Any tips on improving the video quality?
Also, there is an absolute ton of DLC. Is there a place online where I can watch the movie clips and decide what I want to buy? The in-game store is really slow and using the kinect to hover over all the buttons makes it even slower.

I played the demo of the mtv version and it was fun. However the video quality was fairly poor even with the room lit up. I will probably still pick it up at some point anyway.

I enjoy this game but think that the DLC is way overpriced. I haven't bought one clip yet as the most you will get is a one minute clip between 1.99 and 2.99. That is too much money in my opinion. They just need to come out with a second game and make it like Singstar where you can disc swap while staying in the game.

PLEASE PLEASE try to find a scene from the movie Eddie so you can get your Knicks jersey on and pretend you are Whoopi.

I picked this up for cheap from Amazon too. Should be a fun party game after a few Captain & Cokes.

lol! I knew you would come back if I threw something about the Heat in there. Let's just say that I try to keep that travesty known as Eddie as recessed in memory as I possibly can.

It's kind of like an "acting" game. You record yourself acting out a part from scenes from films or MTV shows. The Kinect records your performance and then plays out the clip with you replacing the actor or actress or (in the case of the MTV clips) the drunken slut in the scene. It can be fun with a group of people who don't mind acting goofy in front of each other.
