What is your top few dvds with the highest replay value?
First off I know there are a few threads on this subject but none are quite like this one.
What is your top few dvds with the highest replay value? Can be documentaries, movies, porn(please keep details to a minimum and don't post rated R words), concerts, tv shows, anything on dvd in any format. Lets keep it to your top 10 or less please.
I will name 5......
#1- The Police Certifiable on blu-ray, a perfect concert! I wish I could have made it to one of their shows when they got back together for this tour.
#2- Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Criterion dvd for the extras which I can watch over and over and over and the blu-ray for the movie itself. I have seen this movie 20 times or better over the years.
#3- Dexter seasons on blu-ray, this show just flat out rocks!
#4- A dvd with nothing but Lesbians, I don't know the name of it! I am not much of a porn collector, in fact this is my only one, I got it like 4 years ago and have seen it many times. It just does not get old!!
#5- Seinfeld the complete series (9 seasons) , not much to say here I can watch these shows over and over and over and over again, it does not get old.

.....wrong location for this.
Also....the way you typed it sounds like what some preteen girl would come up with. It just is worded weird.

The Extended Editions of the Lord Of The Rings trilogy would be my first choice with the highest replay value, thereafter I think I'd have to go with Chronicles Of Narnia(s), National Treasure(s), Pirates Of The Caribbean(s), etc., anything with a sense of fantasy and high adventure. When I watch a movie, I want it to take me away, and those do it very nicely. -kd5-

As far as TV shows are concerned, Stargate SG-1/Atlantis, Babylon 5, and The X-Files have the highest replay value at our house. -kd5-

I love the commentary on A Knight's Tale a lot. Good Burger is another movie that I can watch over and over and never get tired of it. I loved to be reminded of when Nickelodeon didn't suck. P.C.U, is another one that I can watch all the time. Of course, any of the old Doctor Who episodes are great. The real Batman movie and Back To The Future are some more. But my absolute top movie that I can watch over and over ?.....probably either Ghostbusters, Home Alone, or Little Giants.

Whenever I can't sleep, I put in The Tales of Hoffmann and I'm out like a light. Ironically, I've also never seen the end to that movie, however it's been in my DVD player over a hundred times so it's far and away got the top replay value.

My top favorites are television series, generally the releases of "Hawaii Five-O" (of which I have the first 7) and "Hardcastle and McCormick" (of which I have the complete series). Both of those have gotten quite a few spins from me.

When I was in high school, every night I would put on The Odyssey with Armand Asante. It helped me sleep for some reason.

The one movie that gets the most replay value is American Psycho. That is probably my 'deserted island' movie. It's an excellent comedy.

Almost any movie by Scorsese, Houston, Coppola, Bunuel, Coens, Tarantino, Kubrick, etc, you know, stuff that's really well-made, has depth but is also fun and/or engaging.
