I know that Tesco were stocking these a couple of months ago and they were easily made region free by a series of button presses on the remote. But, are the latest stock able to made region free using the same remote hack? Or, is there an alternate hack available?
Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

I want to squash rumours that the Wharfedale DVD750 has had any new firmware revisions. Some newsstand magazines have published stories suggesting that newer models of this player come with a modified firmware which prevents the region hack.
This is untrue and I'm not quite sure where this rumour originated. Wharfedale themselves have confirmed that no such firmware changes have taken place and that none are planned. If you've held of buying one of these players due to these rumours then you can rest assured that the hack is still present.
