Virginia: "Burt, next time just stop at 'I don't know what to say.' You don't need to prove it to everyone."

Burt's fingers

I didn't think seeing Maw Maw covered in germs looked that funny in the episode preview, but it was hysterical in context.

Burt on using all his fingers for nosepicking: "Different ones get to different places."

Virginia's voice vibrating during the massage chain was fantastic!

Maw Maw running for the ice cream truck in the movie was great

Sabrina licked that corn cob! Ewww.

Yeah, that's as dirty as it sounds.

Great episode. One of the best, really.

I liked this episode more than last week's. I agree with Mr. X Maw Maw running for ice cream truck in the movie was hilarious. I also loved Burt's prank videos.

This episode also made me wonder more if Virginia will ever find out that her mom is alive.

So was this episode out of order with last week's? Virginia and Burt were filming Jimmy on the phone with his new guy friend with the video camera that Jimmy brought home for the first time in this episode. Oops.

Word. I'll just wait for the DVDs so I can view them in proper order!

I know shows get jumbled around sometimes. It was just funny with them being back to back.

I would give anything to sit in on a writer's meeting for this show.

The Human Centipede reference made me choke.

"Hop in! New guy gets the back, though."

Also, telling Maw-Maw that when she was younger she looked like the horny neighbor on the Mary Tyler Moore show was amazing!

It's funny because when I saw the home movie I thought they did a really good job of making her look like Phyllis again. Gotta love those types of references.

Pastafarian

That was a very sweet sequence towards the end leading to Sabrina breaking out of her germaphobia.

Re: Raising Hope -- "A Germ of a Story" -- 2/15/11

I was so behind on this show. I let the entire season build up on my DVR without watching and then had to delete them because of lack of DVR space. But, I also subscribe to Hulu Plus and decided on a whim to watch from the beginning and I was so fucking addicted to this show.

I watched 7 episodes in a row on Hulu last week and got caught up tonight (6 more) This is easily the best new sitcom of this season. Fucking love this show. Martha Plimpton and Garret Dillahunt are so good on this show.

This Germ episode was fricking hilarious. Loved the scene where they cleaned up the House and Maw Maw walked in infested with germs under the Police lamp view. at the scene where Maw Maw coughed and the slow motion spit landed on Jimmy.

Glad I stuck with it and now I'm caught up.

Really? Your going to quit now because you need to see them in proper order? It's not like this is a heavily serialized sitcom.
