Just curious, how many of you here actually subscribe to Starz to watch this? Or do most of you wait until Netflix tomorrow?

I'm subscribing to Starz (actually, am getting it for free as part of Dish's anniversary promo).

Starz looks to have a full slate of original programming coming out the rest of the year (next up: Camelot in April), so I'll likely stick with it.

I recently moved, so as a perk DirecTV gave me 3 free months of Starz, which was perfect timing to watch this. If I didn't get Starz for free, I would probably just watch via Netflix, tbh.

Been watching it through Netflix. I'm pretty happy that they are able to have them available to stream while the season is still airing. Looking forward to this episode, this show has been fantastic.

Netflix for me...I think it is awesome that they do this. Camelot looks good. I think most TV shows are going to be doing this in the future. I don't have cable anymore. I have Hulu Plus and Netflix and I never miss any of my favorite shows. I have the PlayOn server, so I also have TBS for Conan and about 28 other channels and it is $19.99/per year. Streams to the Xbox and PS3. Cable is a waste of money.

Holy shit...Gaia! Have a feeling that Tullius is going to get what's coming to him by the time it's all said and done.

Great episode, Me and my friend were cracking up at the 'serious' conversation going on while the orgy was full effect and some of the stuff you'd see in the background as they were walking

not sure why everyone was shocked about Gaia's death, I mean she wasn't in the picture at all in Blood and Sand. I expect everyone who hasn't shown up in B&S to be killed within the next 2 episodes.

I expect that
Spoiler:
Gannicus will survive and appear in the second season of Blood and Sand since he was a player in the Third Servile War alongside Spartacus, Crixus, and Oenomaus,.

I'm hoping that Batiatus arranges a second round with Gannicus.

I love how besides just explaining the major story events, they also show how small things happened as well. For example, I love how they show the one gladiator who gets chosen to use the net and trident, and then in the first season, that's the guy that gets chosen to duel with Crixus, who Spartacus tricks into giving himself a concussion, so he duels him instead.

It's not only about what happens. It's also about how it happens.

I wasn't shocked about it, just disappointed. I wouldn't mind seeing Jaime Murray again and again each week. lol

You may be right about the new characters all being killed off. I was kind of hoping that they'd write some of the characters ... specifically Gaia ... off on some trip or having moved at the end of Gods so that they could write them back in for the next season. I guess that's still a possibilty with some.

Should be interesting.

Batiatus' comments about Thracians while looking at the slaves was pretty funny.

That one had me laughing definitely Thracians antagonizing the Gauls indeed lol. I wonder what happens when they collude?

I love this show more than several that have passed in the past few years. Me and my wife love to watch and speculate on who is going to get it the worst by the season finale.

It's not my firm belief that Lucretia is going to be the star schemer insofar as the deaths of Tullius and poor ideal-laden Titus Batiatus. He should have never let the whole Gaia thing go.
