What missed product placement opportunity!!

After the gig, Corbett should have taken the kids to Applebees.

Great episode. The Crosby and Jasmine fight was well done.

A tiny bit distracting with someone else playing Seth though

Yeah, this episode had some really intense and very well acted 'fighting' scenes between Sarah and her son and Crosby and Jasmine.

I found Crosby's blow-up incredibly stupid and over the top (in that he said some awful things), but perfectly in line with his character. He seems so chill all the time, but he is kind of a pushover and he obviously lets these things get to him and is really poor at conflict resolution and confronting people in a serious manner.

I didn't find the blow up at all stupid (even though he did stick his foot in his mouth). Jasmine has completely controlled him in this relationship (all out of fear of her mother) and she does need to realize how much he needs to have just as important a say in things.

I'm sorry...but if my daughter ran away for over a week, I wouldn't just let her see her BF because she came home. She got her way.

I assume Adam didn't know that Haddie took Max to see Alex. He looked mighty pissed off.

I really liked the fight between Crosby and Jasmine. His last comment about his son was a bit much, but suited his character. The Amber/Drew/Sarah fight was good, too. Zeke, as always, continues to impress me as a character. I want to be like him when I'm that age.

So, I only got into this show during this season. Is it worthwhile to go back and watch all of Season 1? I seem to have a pretty good understanding of the overall dynamic between characters. My wife helped explain a bit about Seth. Just wondering if it's worth the effort...

Adam knew Haddie took Max to see Alex. He was right there tossing knowing/concerned glances at Kristina while Max said he saw Alex and he wasn't supposed to tell.

Kristina and Adam didn't agree to Haddie seeing Alex because she came home. It wasn't a quid pro quo. Haddie came home unconditionally because that's where she belongs. Haddie "gave in" after her conversation with Camille (her grandmother). Her parents likewise adjusted their previous thinking to create a situation that was tolerable for all involved. Adam already admitted he actually likes Alex. The goal isn't to break their daughter's will and win. Personally, I don't think people who love each other should think of disagreements in terms of who wins and who gives in. The goal is to find a solution everyone can live with. There is no win if someone I love has to lose. This show got that right.

The show is definitely worth going back to watch, but it isn't a prerequisite for watching this season.
