I missed that spot yesterday

I just need to say this episode was shot very dark.
Also who is playing Taub's ex-brother in law? He seems familiar
EDIT: Got it. He's on Mad Men I think

Great episode and very dark (both story-wise and film-wise)
Hugh Laurie was so intense in this episode. The scene where he confronted Masters and blackmailed her was so well done. I was honestly surprised to see Masters lose it, but go back and report him anyways.
I also enjoyed the conversations between Cuddy and her mother. BTW, that was a solid choice to cast Paula Marshall as Cuddy's sister.
at Taub pissing off his former brother-in-law and getting his nose broken.

So what you're saying is his wife set him up with a additional job (because working for House isn't stressful enough) so that he can afford to keep her in the style she's accustomed to while she doesn't work and hooks up with some other guy? No wonder she thinks he's a "nice guy."

+1 I was thinking that exact same thing.
I thought the constant rainstorms was an interesting choice for this episode. The show is certainly going new places I'd never have expected when it first aired.

I thought this was one of the best episode I've seen in a while.
I like how they use the House title opening. Very simple and quick.

Very good episode. Surprised at how dark the episode was shot as well. Cuddy/House hasn't gotten in the way of the show at all, and they've actually done a good job developing the relationship. The talk about Cuddy potentially blaming House down the line if her mom died was great.

[QUOTE=rfduncan;10629463]I wonder how many people actually got the reference to the Joe Greene Coca-cola ad from 1979? Probably very few.
/QUOTE]
I was actually working during the game, so I didn't see it live. When I got home, my gf (a HUGE House fan) starts telling me about the "weirdest" House promo. We watched it, and right away I'm like "It's just a parody of the Joe Greene commercial." "A parody of... what?" then we had to go watch the original

I got it the second he threw the cane. I didn't think of the churro has a coke initially, though.
Great ad regardless.

She was totally unapologetic about impoverishing him, too. No-fault divorce only applies if the wife has an affair. He was a fool to get the side job, though. She'll just get a big chunk of that too, and if he stops once he realizes that there's a good chance his alimony won't go down because his reduction of income will be deemed voluntary.
