There seems to be something up, though, the page seems to imply that all DVDs are going to be only £12.99, and the Freeserve site actually states "any DVD for £12.99". Not their standard 15% off, and it definitely doesn't say "from" at any place (yet...) I'll be interested to see if they correct this before Friday (offer starts Friday 8am, ends Sunday 9pm) because I could really do with a few of those big old boxsets if they're really giving them away for £12.99...

[Edit, it starts at 8am on Friday 9th...]

Yeah, but since the last two were the same and didn't have the URL in them, I figured "What the hell!"

Hate to rain on your parade but I think the interpretation should be that the "best-selling" CDs and DVDs will be £8.99/£12.99, probably the top 10 or top 20. There is no way on Earth a UK website would post a deal that loses them money - it just isn’t in their tight-fisted nature to take a loss now in the hope that they will gain a loyal customer for life.

Yeah, I kinda guessed that it was meant to say "from £12.99"... I'm just hoping that on the Freeserve site they "forget" to correct it, so I can scream false advertising at the DVDStreet cutomer services desk...

Okay, it's (more or less) official; this is not a 15% off thing. Instead, they would appear to be choosing 30 DVDs and pricing them at £12.99, and 30 CDs priced at £8.99. See here; it's near the top of the page. Will have to see what the 30 designated cheap discs are, but it's sadly not going to be a store-wide thing by the looks of it. Crap...

For the duration of this promotion you may also stack multiple promotional gift certificates and use expired CDnow and Amazon coupon codes. Save a further 5% by using a CDUniverse Visa card (it doesn't actually have to be your card). Thank you for your interest.<HR>

Hmm, the DVDs I'm adding to my cart are showing at their normal price, not at £12.99. It worked earlier today, but right now isn't. Anyone else having this problem?
