The previews for this don't look all that interesting, but I'll give it a chance because of Shahi.

I set the DVR cause she looks hot and USA shows are usually pretty decent. So, we'll see. The marketing worked on this one, ha...

I enjoyed this quite a bit. I wasn't sure at first but it shaped up quite nicely.
Oh and, Sarah Shahi. I missed her when Life was cancelled. Heck, I miss Life altogether.

I liked it also.
1st of all, Sarah Shahi is freaking gorgeous. Really sexy professional outfits and she lights up all her scenes.
But, eye candy factor aside and I thought it was a fun light hearted drama with a different take on the legal genre. I'm not too familiar with Legal mediators, but the show made it interesting. They had some cool guest stars like Ken Howard and McRaney. I think it will be fun to see Kate butt heads with her apparent gold digger step mother.
I'm not sure if there is any significance to the Wizard of Oz ringtones. The previews didn't really seem that interesting because I think this is a tough show to sell to USA's audience especially when she have characters like Michael Weston, Hank and Mary Shannon as your predecessors.
Also, I loved that they shot the Pilot in San Francisco. Beautiful scenics.
I'm in for the next 9 weeks.

She likes the ring tones.
Has one from the movie for everyone she knows.
I didn't think the Mother in law was a gold digger. Looks like she is running the company.

Yep. That skirt she was running around in for most of the episode showed it off perfectly. Love the high heels too. The woman is insanely hot - that's that Iranian blood of hers. The problem with Life is that they wasted her beauty. That won't happen with this show.
The Wizard of Oz ring tones are annoying, but a fun show. Taking a different approach to the law is something new.
The latter 2 aren't much of a bar to hurdle.

I thought this was a mixed bag.
The store robbery scene was cringeworthy, and the whole marriage proposal lawsuit plot was lame. Some of the guest actors were lousy.
On the plus side, I think they did a credible job setting Kate up as a great mediator, and I liked a lot of the humor. The look of the show is nice.
I never heard of Sarah Shahi before this, but Wowza! I hope they keep dressing her like this, because she looked hot as hell.

Overall if pretty light show, me and my wife like it so we are following the show.

I don't think the whole show was shot in SF since I notice when they were in the office and you can see RBC bank, TD bank, BMO and Scotia Bank logo in the background - Canadian Banks logo. Maybe in Toronto ???

They need to start to doing episodes where Sarah Shahi has to go mediate undercover at massage parlors and beauty contests... or as a "lady of the night" --like they used to do all the time on Charlie's Angels.

Was this any good? I recorded the pilot, but don't know if I feel like getting into any new shows at the moment. Not enough time in the day...

If you don't have time, then don't force yourself. But, if you like USA's type of shows, then IMO it was a good start. It's light and fun with a ridiculously hot lead.

I watched this the other day and this is one of those shows that I don't hate, but I don't exactly like either. Sarah Shahi is a great lead for the show () and they seem to have her character down...but all the other plot points for me were meh.
