Synopsis:

Spoiler:
While Internal Affairs officer Rachel Jacobs (Joanne Kelly, "Warehouse 13") investigates reports of a rogue cop, Jim risks revealing himself as the prime suspect when the police station is overrun by a group of thugs, and he is the only hope of survival. Meanwhile, while trying to nurse an ailing Joshua back to health at the lab, Katie and Stephanie run into Human Resources VP Victoria Morrow (Rebecca Mader, "Lost") and begin to suspect that she isn't who she says she is.

Episode 13 of 22

to Joanne Kelly guest starring. Glad to see her get some work outside of Warehouse 13.

Anyone know what the song at the end was? Usually in cases like this I'd grab a line and Google the lyrics, but I guess I misheard them, as nothing came up.

No Ordinary Breakfast Club?

I am still wondering why I watch this show. I guess I keep on waiting for a change...for something actually great to happen that will turn this series into something better. The writing in this show just gets worse each episode. At least the writing matches the promo picture they made for this series. I completely don't buy the relationship between the hot geek and Magneto or whatever the hell his name is. I best stop thinking about it...I am really going to turn on this show if I keep thinking of the flaws.

As a fan of The Breakfast Club, I kind of enoyed it. The only thing that irritated me to no end, and made me conclude someone involved in this show really doesn't respect the audience, was when mom was finally able to figure out the real Katie, then promptly turns her back on the shapeshifting homocidal maniac. Really?

Katie's boyfriend continues to be an interesting character. I thought maybe his secret would be spilled to the whole family, but no... only Katie knows so far. OK, I take it back. The shapeshifter having previously "studied" Katie so should could know all the answers to obscure geek references was pretty out there as well.

But then, it does some things right too. Die Hard, Breakfast Club, and another person knowing at least a little about Jim, but keeping his secret.

I thought this was the best episode of the series to date. Even the characters I once thought annoying (the children) are growing on me.

I agree with all this. The writing on this show can get stupid, yet it still has a certain charm.

To answer my own question: Sarah Blasko's "We Won't Run"
