Awesome news! Thanks for posting. This was tied (with Terriers) for my favorite new show of the season and I was thrilled it got the additional episode order. It's the rare show that got it right from the beginning and it's nice to see its creativity being rewarded. So glad they gave Raising Hope the Glee lead-in and not Running Wilde, lol.

+1 Easily the funniest new show this season. I'm actually enjoying this even more that Garcia's My Name is Earl. Having the alums guest star doesn't hurt either. Yay!

Saw this late last night as well. Very good news. This is the first time in years that Fox has renewed a live action 30 minute Comedy (aside from 'Til Death which was essentially free for Seasons 3/4).

Now the problem - finding a proper companion show.

Great News! This has actually surpased "Modern Family" as my favorite comedy right now...

Why not leave it where it is? "Glee's" Ratings definately are not hurting and they are a great companion to each other...

I heard about this a few days ago. I'm pretty happy. Raising Hope turned out to be better than I expected.

I hope so too. I also think Garret Dillahunt should get some Emmy love. He and Martha have been very good on this show. But I have a feeling they will get snubbed.

By companion, I meant another 30 minute show to go on after it (like Running Wilde). All of Fox shows, except Sunday (and Cops), are hour long. So Fox needs to develop a 30 minute show to air after it.

Garret Dillahunt is awesome in this. I don't think I can see him in one of his patented psycho roles quite the same way again. I'm afraid the "trailer trash" feel of this show will keep it out of Emmy consideration, though.

Wow. Never heard of the show. But because of this thread, I watched three episodes (the pilot, the one with Jason Lee, and the Christmas episode). All very good. The premise of the pilot is genius. It'd be cool to see Hope age over the seasons, kind of like what happened with Malcom in the Middle.

Jamie Pressley got Emmy nominations and a win for My Name is Earl so there is some hope for Garret and Martha to get some Emmy love. I think if RH gets snubbed by the Emmys it would be due to the popularity of Glee and Modern Family. I like Glee but Chris Colfer has become the most overrated part of that show and it bugs me that he gets comedy acting categories when he isn't really a comedic actor. His dramatic scenes are sometimes over the top. I can Emmy voters again giving him nomination again and snubbing some like Garret or Danny Pudi from Community who actually have comedic acting talents.

Garret has really surprised me on the show. I saw him in The Last House on the Left remake and his appearances on Life and Criminal Minds and it's weird to see play psychos and then play someone like Burt on RH.
