Columbia House charging sales tax?

Placed an order with CH today and noticed that they are now charging sales tax, something they haven't done for CA orders over the last couple of years. Did they just open up a shipping facility in CA or is this something that they are now doing for all orders across the US?

Along with their infrequent sales these days, now there is even less incentive for me to remain a member.

Just curious, was the tax listed on the "checkout page" before you placed your order?

I just went to the checkout page and "Estimated Tax" still shows 0.00 (yes, I'm in CA), but I didn't finalize the order.

Just a matter of time, considering the far-left wingnuts in the legislature and Governor's mansion. With the huge deficit, they will soon be taxing the air you breathe.
