Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread
Starz has sold a 25% equity stake in Starz Media to The Weinstein Company, in exchange for which Weinstein and Starz' Anchor Bay have entered into a multi-year agreement to for DVD, Blu-ray and digital distribution of Weinstein catalog films. This will include up to 20 Weinstein and Dimension titles per year, including new films like The King's Speech, Blue Valentine and Company Men. Other films to be released include Sarah's Key, the Scream, Spy Kids and Scary Movie franchises, and new installments of the Halloween, Hellraiser and Children of the Corn series, among other titles. Very good news indeed!

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread
So is Due Date really 02/08, as Skynet just said?
Also, amazon.ca has Faster with The Rock listed for 03/01 not 03/08, and Unstoppable as 02/15 not 02/22. Is that true? Because USA and Canadian DVD release dates are always same.

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread
Just talked to a friend at WB...
He is reporting that Harry Potter is indeed going to be April and March was just a rumor started as a joke.
which is why WB pushed Hereafter out of Feb and into March.

Re: DVD Talk New-To-DVD Theatrical Release and Discussion Thread
I shall never not trust you again Real DVD/ MvieGuy... Due Date was officially announced today (or at least the first official announcement I have publicly seen for it) as Feb 22.
FYE got me all overzealous like I knew something others didnt!
I'm a little disappointed with the news of Jackass 3 coming out today... there was no announcement for a 3DBD for this title, only that the Blu Ray would come with an old school 3D presentation.
Hopefully the 3D BD will be a store exclusive, because I want this in 3D
