Not completely confirmed yet, but looking true.
A shame, I really hoped they would make the 4th Naked Gun "Sledge Hammer!" creator Alan Spencer had scripted before he passed on.
EDIT: Seems to be confirmed, now.
Here's a link to a write-up of that Alan Spencer script. http://www.aintitcool.com/node/40512

It sucks that he didn't get better work after 2000, in that the more popular comedic filmmakers didn't see him as more than a parody actor.
RIP.
RIP.

awww that's really sad. I will always remember him, he made me laugh so much, he had that face that you could not take him seriously. He was also in the early Columbo series and he was so cool.

Rest in Peace Enrico Pallazzo. I've got dozens of movies to pull of the shelf and watch in remembrance of this wonderful actor. Would've loved a 4th "Naked Gun" movie.

Who is this Leslie Nielsen you speak of? From the picture it looks like Enrico Pallazzo. (Damnit, I was beaten to the punch.)
RIP. I liked how he was so deadpan in his performances in the spoofs.

Sad news. A great actor and genuinely funny guy.
There's been talk of a fourth movie for some time called Naked Gun: What 4? The Rhythm of Evil.
According to this, neither Zucker, Abrams, or Zucker are involved. But it would've featured Drebin.
But according to this, David Zucker is involved.
Obviously Nielsen's death sort of throws a wrench in some of what was reported to have been in the script.
