Flipped Blu-Ray - Did They Cancel the Combo Pack?
I had planned on buying Rob Reiner's Flipped today on Blu-Ray, and was expecting it to be a Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack like it was announced. But when I went to pick it up, there was no combo pack anywhere, and I bought it and even gave it a peak. It's not there. I'm slightly peturbed because I was looking forward to using the digital copy, but I'm willing to live with it if they cancelled the combo pack.
So did they cancel it, or did they just make the most minimal supply of it?

Given they canceled half of the movie's theatrical release, I wouldn't be shocked if number-crunchers are responsible for the vanishing extra disc.
Did you buy it at Wal-Mart? Sometimes they have Blu-only packages.

I do recall seeing this at Wal-Mart but I can't quite remember if it was a combo set (it did have the slip cover, I remember that). It's just as likely they could have a combo pack as their exclusive since they've had some Warner exclusives (like Scooby-Doo Camp Scare on BD; everywhere else just had the DVD version).

I actually bought mine at Best Buy, and I went to a couple of others later that day and it was also the non-slipcover. Although I'll give Wal-Mart a shot tomorrow (If it had the slipcover, the odds are it's most likely the combo pack).

Well, Wal-Mart is definitely carrying the combo packs. I think it is an exclusive for them like TheMovieMan said.

At least an exclusive combo pack makes sense. I couldn't quite grasp why you would want LESS stuff when they had an exclusive Nightmare on Elm Street 2010 MINUS the DC and DVD.

My Walmart had both the single disc and the combo pack. And the combo pack is not a Walmart exclusive. My local Fry's also had the combo pack.

When it comes to Warner's Combo Packs, only the first pressing (however, exceptions are made for some) are that of the BD/DVD/DC with slipcover. Everything after is BD-only and no slipcover.
Example: The first pressing of The Final Destination included both 2D and 3D versions PLUS the DVD/DC. The second pressing (and future pressings) dropped the 3D version including the DVD/DC.
