Sorry it was late... I got caught up in family vacation stuff.

I did catch the last couple of dances... and I hope that Jennifer Grey wins this whole thing.

I wouldn't mind "Corey In The House" to win it.

If its 50/50, then its hard to say who wins. As predicted, the judges gave Jennifer first place, Kyle second, and Bristol third. The next two dances won't change that. Even if Jennifer gets second place in Viewer votes, she'll still win. However, if the Viewer votes are in the opposite order of the judges, -Bristol first, Jennifer last, -then it could get sticky, unless the judge's votes are given more weight or there's some other sort of tie-breaker we'll never be told about. The Bristol controversy has been good for ratings, but I doubt the producers want her to win.

The judges' votes don't receive more or less weight than the viewers'.

It's really a simple process. They take the total number of points awarded by the judges, and divide each contestant's total score by that number to get a percentage. That percentage is added to the percentage of the viewer votes each contestant receives. The highest overall percentage score (out of the 200 total available percentage points) wins.

In the case of the finals, the judges' points from both nights are combined, so there is still only one percentage score from them for each contestant, that still counts as half of the overall score (it isn't weighted as 2/3 judges, 1/3 viewers).

And, since they don't appear to round up or down significantly when calculating the percentages, the chances of a tie are incredibly remote.

For this week's Monday show, the judges percentages are:

35.714% - Jennifer (60/168)
33.333% - Kyle (56/168)
30.952% - Bristol (52/168)

If the judges' scores for Tuesday are in line with the averaged scores from Monday (e.g, a 30 for Jennifer, a 28 for Kyle, and a 26 for Bristol), their percentages won't change. In that scenario, Bristol would need at least 5% more viewer votes than Jennifer (and also at least 3% more than Kyle) to win.

It would look really bad on DWTS if Bristol Palin wins because of viewers' votes.

Based on those scores, have to think Bristol is a shoo-in. She should easily get 5% more from the carbon blobs.

I hope she wins because I have always hated the viewer voting part of it. Maybe it would force them to change.

I think she's going to lose. Bristol is probably going to take the whole thing. Too many people voting for her.

I told my wife the same thing. I'm pulling for Palin just so I can see the look on Grey and Jamie Lee's face.

Also, if Palin wins and Grey looses maybe they will realize people are tired of the show bringing in ringers every year.

It would be interesting to see what the fallout will be if Bristol wins. It would not be improbable at all for her to get 5% more votes than Jennifer Grey.
