I've only given myself time to play once so far and I fell instantly in love. Got the "No Mistakes" achievement too, so I can confirm that probably just means "no dying" because I used up all my bombs and did a lot of "Oh shit!" running and weaving off the planned course.

Ok, so I have all the achievements now. I was 2 ghosts away from taking the #1 spot on the "Ghost Combo" leaderboard for Championship II. So I'm stuck at #7 with 101 right now

Speaking of leaderboards, with a game like that that lives and dies on the leaderboard, you'd think they'd have spent more time making it make sense to navigate. Every time I back out, it resets instead of just staying where I was so I can move around easier. Also, WTF is up with "me" not appearing on my "Friends" leaderboard? Doesn't do me much good if I have to keep cross-referencing. /minor-nitpick-rant

Wow, that's a glaring omission, I wonder if they'll address it in an update.

The only thing I think was missing (from one my play) was some sort of Geo Wars 2/Shadow Complex dynamic leaderboard.

Only had time to get in 3 games at lunch, but it's definitely a blast.

If Krome could add that to Game Room 6 months after launch, Namco can too. They just need a way to be contacted by Western gamers.

All game companies should have one of us on staff to point this basic shit out to them.

I only got to try it just once this morning. I was in clear violation of my wife's strict "No Video Games in the Morning on School Days" rule. Had to see it though. I like it a lot. Can't wait to get more time with it. This might be the best use of the new redesigned Dpad. I thought it was perfect for this game.

I tested the new dpad with the OG CE and while better, oddly enough the analog stick is still the way to play this game. I've even tried both my arcade sticks and they're even worse. However the mechanics of the game work, they're clearly working around/with the intricacies of the analog stick, even though at its heart, this is a twitch joystick game.

So is this just an add on to c.e or a full game? If its the former it's bullshit namco doesn't discount it for people that have already bought c.e.!

I agree, in theory since it's just an improved version of the previous game. But it's so much better and so much deeper, with so many more game modes and maps; it's kind of like the difference between GW1 and GW2. And it's only $10, after all. No question, it's worth that.

What's the best way to rack up points? I only got to play a couple of rounds on my lunch break, and I never spent a whole lot of time with the original CE. My top score was in the 600,000 range (5 minute mode).
