Synopsis:

Spoiler:
The past and present collide when human remains from a 150-year-old slave ship, the Amelia Rose, surface. The team is tasked to give the deceased a proper burial but make an unforeseen discovery linked to a recent murder. In the course of the investigation, Booth and Brennan are led to a different kind of ship - a "Cougar" cruise - where they learn their victim was seen moments before his death. Meanwhile, Sweets struggles to maintain a casual relationship with Daisy, and Cam discovers a surprising and emotional connection to the Amelia Rose.

Not sure why this show doesn't get a lot of attention around here. I always find it interesting and well-written, and the character development is usually done very well.

Although, boy, that promo pic is really badly photoshopped.

I've always been lukewarm on this show. It's a weird mix of cop show/procedural but the cases of the week are almost always underwritten from that angle. So, the real meat of the show is the characters and their interactions. Unfortunately, only half the regular cast (Booth, Bones and Sweets) are worth watching.

In some ways Castle is a more focused version of this show. Which is not to say it's better since as character driven shows it's highly subjective.
