What are your most anticipated Blu-ray releases of 2011?
I'm referring strictly to titles that have been confirmed. Of those, which are you most looking forward to next year? WB has, of course, Citizen Kane on the way, but also Lolita and Barry Lyndon. We can also look forward to classics like The Birds, Taxi Driver, Chinatown and The Conversation. I'm not averse to a few guilty pleasures, which is where God Told Me To, Q: The Winged Serpent, The Exterminator, The Intruder, and Battle Beyond the Stars come in. There are also several Criterions on tap, all of which will hopefully receive a 2011 release, though a couple may be 2012 offerings: Blow Up, Red River, The Sweet Smell of Success, Kiss Me Deadly and The Killing. I would be surprised if Criterion doesn't do a double-bill with the latter and Killer's Kiss, the MGM disc of which is now OOP. I'm not wild about Something Wild, but it's coming from Criterion too. I'm assuming we'll be getting some more Chaplin in HD next year as well. So, what, other than the Star Wars Trilogy (yawn!) are your most anticipated titles for 2011?

I haven't really been following release dates, but I'd say my most anticipated is Sante Sangre.
Besides that Army of Shadows.
I'm sure most posts will be about Disney titles, Tarantino films and whatever big blockbusters are coming out next year.

I heard O Brother, Where Art Thou? might see a BD release next year which would be spectacular. And let's not forget the possibility of Lawrence of Arabia.

I'm excited for much of what's in the OP but, as another pointed out, since most of the 2011 slate hasn't been "officially" announced, most of what I'd post would be hopeful speculation.

The only one that's been announced that i'm excited about is The Incredibles.

Fine. How about more than likely, as in titles that have been rumored, confirmed in newsletters, or announced as having a probable 2011 release date.

So far nothing announced or even anticipated for 2011 trips my trigger. There were at least a few speculated for 2010 that never made it (Jurassic Park) that I'd love to see. Based on today's post in DigitalBits, the studios are starting to be more willing to dig into the catalog titles for 2011 so that should be good news for many

I was not aware these are forthcoming, but I'm always up for some Antonioni, Hawks, and Hunsecker action. I will definitely be anticipating those titles, particularly since they were issued on DVDs that are -- in one way or another -- disappointing. I hope for stellar A/V quality for each of them.
This is another title with an underwhelming DVD version. I would love to see it released alongside 'The Big Knife.' I'm also looking forward to 'Something Wild,' and all the Kubrick titles, particularly those that I have in particularly sub-par versions: I still own the original WB Kubrick DVD box set (that I think ended up being free from Reel.com; I've replaced all the other titles in that set with the previously released BDs.)

Nice, would really like to get O Brother, Where Art Thou? on Blu! Never had it on DVD but I'll take as much Coen Bros. as I can get. I'm also excited to get Taxi Driver and its probably just wishful thinking but it would be nice to get more Bond out. Also more Hitchcock is welcome if The Birds and Vertigo are slate I'll definitely pick them up along with the Kubrick titles Barry Lyndon and Lolita.
