Synopsis:

Spoiler:
A horrifying crime enrages Fitch, Washington, Stone and Sanchez when a young woman is shot multiple times in her SUV while hiding a safe, but terrified two-year-old in the back. The long and winding road of discovery runs from the woman's ex-husband to an under-the-radar, possibly illegal manipulation of the foster care system. Meanwhile, Longford and Mahajan investigate the homicide of a college janitor found with drugs in his system. It looks to be the "perfect murder," until the detectives crack the case with an unusual motive.

Episode 6 of 18 (It got 5 more episodes. Not exactly a full season, but better than cancellation)

I thought the story with the little girl was well done last night. Poor Fitch does the right thing by helping the little girl out, but it costs him his opportunity to move in on Sanchez.

The other case was pretty much your typical cop procedural case, I figured it was the girls the first time they showed up on screen. The scene with them chasing after the obese drug dealer was pretty funny.

I'm going to continue watching it, for now, but if it doesn't improve (drastically, actually), I won't be heartbroken if it doesn't get a renewal.

Wow, you actually think Fitch is "poorly acted"? WTF?

X2

I don't know if Lemmy is saying the Fitch character sucks or if Imperioli is a bad actor, but I disagree on both accounts. This guy starred in The Sopranos, Goodfellas, the Life on Mars remake, Law and Order and a large assortment of movies. I know we all have different opinions on what is considered good acting, but if Imperioli was such a shitty actor, how is this guy working for almost 20+ years and especially in A-list productions in movies and TV? Imperioli isn't Steven Seagal or Wesley Snipes.

I think he's doing just fine playing Fitch. Keep in mind, this is episode 6 of season 1. TV characters take time to develop.
