It's great for jokes and all, but how long before Barney and Robin hook up (for good)?
It seems they go to lengths every few episodes to show us how bad Ted & Robin were for each other and how much better a fit Barney was with Robin. I'm just so over how big a dolt Ted is in like 98.2% of the episodes. (And Marshall and Lilly aren't far behind.) Other than the rare gems they have, I'm just waiting for them to wrap it up.
(Just like Heroes, this show is rapidly wearing out its welcome on my DVR list.)

I don't mind the Lily/Marshall baby plot as long as they keep it fresh and not recycle jokes of the past 50 years.

She was indeed hot.
As tired as I am of the whole Marshall and Lily trying to get pregnant storyline, I always enjoy seeing Marshall's mom and dad.
I admit being turned on when Robin came out of the bedroom with a rifle in her hand and when she grabbed the sword in Barney's apartment. Strong-willed, fierce and independent.
Barney talking like a little boy to pick up women was cracking me up.
I hope that Barney and Robin get back together. Just the talk between the two of them at his place shows how good they are together.

I'm wondering how long they can keep it fresh. Lily's flashbacks (with the Pearl Jam reference) were funny but how long before they hit the recycle bin. I hope the show ends before kids start to show up.

proud to say my cousin was one of the chicks that barney tried to pick up while talking baby talk. 12 minutes in, filipina, at the bar drinking a beer.
