This episode showed me that they're building to something that may work out with Bialik in the long term, but this episode sucked. I actually think the Bialik part of this episode was the better part.

Hmmm... I thought they were better a couple weeks back but tonight seemed more on par with last year's finale.
Either way, it's awkward no matter how you slice it and detracts from what could be a funny pairing.

Yep, Kaley is probably recovering from her broken leg. I didn't really miss her except when Blossom was on screen. They need to find another girl/friend for Sheldon.

I can't stand the comic book store owner.
When he was first introduced, he seemed like a reasonably normal person, but they've made him into such a stereotypical sadsack loser with each subsequent appearance that it makes you cringe every time he shows up.
I wish they would have him sell the comic shop to someone else, preferably a chick like Felicia Day, who would make a better foil for the four guys.

They have to write Kaley out somehow since she hurt herself.
Kaley talks about breaking her leg
I hope Amy and Sheldon part ways soon. I thought a female version of Sheldon would bring the laughs, but not really. We only see her interact with Sheldon whereas we see Sheldon interact with his friends and Penny.

You really missed Penny when, after Amy told Sheldon about meeting her mother, Sheldon after Leonard. I would have expected him to go across the hall to Penny to get an explanation of the situation.

It always feels that when they know they are missing a comedy beat, they turn to gross-out stuff ... I mean, we didn't really need the stuff about Howard's mother, but there it was.

Definitely missing Penny, since when Amy told Sheldon she wanted him to meet her mother, I thought that he was leaving the apartment to go knock on Penny's door, but instead he went downstairs to get Leonard (the "screwed" interaction, which was great).
Not a funny episode at all.

They should have at least explained Penny's absence... visting the parents or whatever. Not even mentioning her was just glaring.

Blossom just isn't cutting it. I cringe when she speaks, because the delivery is so horrible.

In any case, BBT got its best ratings ever in the 18-49 demo, so she's not exactly hurting the show.

Jesus Christ, I knew she got hurt but I didn't know it was THAT bad. Glad she's okay.
I wonder what they would have done on the show if she had come back with only one foot. I can't think of an equivalent on another show. Well, death obviously but not a major and obvious injury.
Anyway, this episode was OK. Had a few laughs, but yes...time for Amy to go.

Penny is definitely needed to balance out the nerdiness.
Glad there were scenes without Sheldon, but the episode was only so-so. Blossom's line delivery doesn't work for me. She's trying way too hard - the opposite of Sheldon.
So Raj has a deaf girlfriend. That's a clever way of not having his shyness get in the way of getting a girlfriend. Here's an idea that may work... let the viewer see the actual relationship!!. Seriously, they wasted a great opportunity to see how Raj wound up meeting a deaf girlfriend and how they interact. His shyness is the main attribute of his character... and they reference it a lot. You figure at some point we get to see him interact with a woman without being drunk somehow at some point. You have a good idea... follow through with it!

I loved this show at first because they seemed to respect the characters. Unfortunately they are turning into caricatures now. I'm afraid it’s losing me.

I agree with everyone else about the lack of Penny hurting this episode, as well as Blossom's character still being dreadful. I don't see a need for a female Sheldon, and the scenes with them seem way too forced.
I don't mind the small mention of Raj, I'm sure that we'll either never hear that brought up again, or they'll show that relationship soon if it's actually real.
