To my UK friends, I dunno when #RunningWilde will be on there. If we don't get good ratings this week, it won't be shown anywhere.

Re: Running Wilde -- "The Junior Affair" -- 10/12/10

I've watched every episode so far and quality-wise, it just isn't getting any better. It doesn't help (for me at least) that it's on right after the brilliant Raising Hope. I don't know how a show could take so much talent and fail to deliver a quality program.

If FOX cancels Running Wilde, does anyone know what they'll put on in its place?

^^ As far as a 30 minute live action replacement, FOX only has Mixed Signals and who knows if it's even ready to air yet since it's not slated to premiere until midseason.

I hope they keep it on the air, because I find it pretty damn amusing.

Not saying much, but this was the best episode so far.

If this keeps up, I'll be recording this show for more reasons than my DVR keeps cutting off the last minute of Raising Hope.

at the carwashing montage and the boy thinking Emmy was trying to seduce him.

I know this show is too offbeat to survive, but I like it.

at the Car Washing montage with Steve and Andy Richter. That was so fricking uncomfortable to watch yet hilarious.

Alright so I went through all 4 episodes that have aired, including tonight and this show is so offbeat. I can see why it's having alot of trouble getting an audience. Honestly, I didn't laugh once in episodes 1-3, but this episode was probably the funniest.

I already thought the homosexual overtones with Steve and Fa'ad were weird, but this episode took it to the next level with Andy Richter's character.

I don't really see alot of romantic chemistry between Arnett's character and Russell's, but their banter off each other is getting more entertaining.

OK Show + Andy Richter = Funny Show

If every episode was this good it would warrant keeping. Much better than the first few episodes.

Re: Running Wilde -- "The Junior Affair" -- 10/12/10

This was, by far, the funniest episode yet (as others have said though--that's not saying much!). It certainly had strong AD overtones.

My biggest criticism of this show has been the miscasting of Keri Russell, even though I love her in everything else. That said, this episode, she really delivered. Her interactions with the boy were HILARIOUS.

I still think the show doesn't cater at all to the "standard" audience, so it'll probably be canceled. But it's too bad, because another few episodes and it could really be rolling. For the first time, I'm looking forward to the next episode...

This episode was hilarious. Between the car wash and Fa'ad's Alan Alda 'accent' I was laughing pretty hard.

That's just such an easy excuse to make. I hate when you have a bad show and people just say that it isn't for everyone. That isn't this show's problem. This show's problem is that it is unfunny.

Prior to this episode, I agree. I probably should have said, up till now it has been unfunny and lost any audience it might have gained. And now that it's started to be funny, it's going to have a hard time gaining an audience since it's offbeat and quirky.

It looks like the ratings were down again this week which is sad because the show has been getting better. The only thing I'd like to change about the show is to ditch the narration. Ron Howard was hilarious on AD, but on this show it really contributes nothing.

Good, we get it. You don't like the show. It'll be gone soon so let us who do enjoy the show enjoy it in peace.

What is up with Fa'ad's ridiculous chest hair?

Did anyone notice the disclaimer on Fa'ad's acting reel?

"Property of Camelsgate Films. Do not duplicate under penalty of right hand."
WTH is that supposed to mean?

The Islamic punishment for theft is cutting off one's hand.

I just realized where I'd previously seen Fa'ad. He's from the BBC show Look Around You. The guy is hilarious.
